Bangkok, Thailand, 13 June 2024 -- On Sunday, 9 June 2024, the Don Bosco Parents and Teachers Association, Bangkok, organized the 16th Don Bosco Mini Marathon - a charity walk-run, to compete for the royal trophy of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn at Suan Luang Rama IX, Bangkok. The competition was divided into 2 categories: Fun Run 5 km and Fun Run 10.5 km.
The main purpose of this event was to raise money to support the orphaned, poor, underprivileged students and students with hearing impairments at Don Bosco Technological College, Bangkok.
The opening ceremony was honored by the presence of Dr. Chadchart Sittipunt, the incumbent Governor of Bangkok.
At the end of the event, Fr. Phonchit Phoolvithayakij, the Rector of Don Bosco Technological College - Bangkok, presented the awards to the winners of the various events.
The event received the full cooperation of the parents, the students, and the alumni, and was carried out according to the planned objectives.
