Sumba Indonesia, 3 June 2024 -- Don Bosco Vocational School Sumba took part in the Indonesian Student League match at Regency level, Southwest Sumba, NTT. The match was held on the Galatama field. Adequate selection preparation and match practice against several teams, supports the children's preparation to participate in soccer tournaments. Efforts do not betray the results, for the first time Don Bosco Vocational School won 3rd place in the Indonesian Student League at Regency level.

Winning at a young age is not the main thing, but developing creative and skilled players with good self-confidence. No one expected that Don Bosco Vocational School would reach the semi-finals, as if they were a dark horse team for teams that are known to be strong in general. Successfully defeating SMAN Wewewa Selatan in the quarter-finals, as defending champion for 2 years in a row in the penalty shootout, recording new history for SMK Don Bosco Sumba. Even though the game was quite tough, the children remained calm under pressure and played sportsmanship. Every sweat is a prayer, every effort is proof, and every victory is the result of true struggle.

Even in the semifinal match, Thomas Aquinas High School had to admit its superiority in the penalty shootout. You may be losing now, but that doesn't mean you will always lose. Don Bosco Vocational School managed to get 3rd place as a result of struggle and perseverance during training. Winning or losing is the result obtained from the match, but the important thing is how they can play a beautiful game to show off.

The greatest victory is giving your all for the team and fighting together out there, and leaving a proud impression.
