Blitar and Sumba Indonesia, 10 April 2024 – During the Easter Octave, the St Yusuf Catholic Vocational Technical School in Blitar and St. John Bosco Vocational Technical School in Sumba family held the Easter Celebration. The purpose of this activity is to share the joy and blessings of Easter. Thank God for the grace of the resurrected Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son. The celebration begins with the Eucharist. The Students and the teachers took care of the liturgical service and choirs.
The homilist pointed out the importance of clothing ourselves with the Risen Lord. Jesus is the Saviour of all humankind. We have received Jesus in our lives and hope to end with Jesus. After the Eucharistic Celebration, all the teachers, employees, and students share the meals and snacks at the School Hall. There were also shares of Easter eggs and gifts.
