Boroko, PNG, 24 February 2024 -- 16 Animators were part of a day-long SYM meeting at the Emmaus Conference Centre, Boroko, on 23 February 2024.

Fr. Moise Palaku, Coordinator for the Youth Ministry Commission, animated the meeting, inviting the participants to be shepherds to the young. He encouraged them to build on Teamwork, listen to the cries of the young, and encourage a commitment to the faith and the Sacraments.

Fr. Ambrose Pereira, In charge of the Social Communications Commission, reminded the participants to share the good news and inspire young people through their words, deeds, actions, and indeed their very lives.

Discussions were also held on the common programs of the vice-province and the highlight of the year - the WANTOK BOSCO program. The participants were from Arimari, Boroko, Gabutu and Sabama. Eight leaders were chosen. They will form part of the SYM core team and coordinate their young people at the different institutions. We look forward to an interesting year ahead.
