Da Lat, Vietnam, 18 February 2024 -- At 5:30 p.m., 16 February 2024, the Community of Don Rua Da Lat organized a program to welcome Cardinal Angel Fernandez Artime, General Councillors, and Participants of EAO Team Visit 2024.

In addition to members of the Salesian family and young people, the program also saw the presence of distinguished guests: Bishop Dominic Nguyen Van Manh (Bishop of Da Lat Diocese), Bishop Peter Nguyen Van De, SDB ( former Bishop of Thai Binh Diocese) and Father Gioan Bosco Hoang Van Chinh (General Representative of Da Lat Diocese) and guests of the Civil Government.

Before entering the official program, the Cardinal and the Team Visit participants visited the Eucharist at the Community Chapel. After a moment of silent prayer, he and the entire Salesian Family and groups took souvenir photos.

At 6 pm, the cultural performance program began. The performances were prepared and performed meticulously and meaningfully by SDB, FMA Sisters, students, choir members, singers, and children. The musical performances aim to express gratitude to God, demonstrate Don Bosco's charism and introduce the Homeland, Country and people of Vietnam. After each performance, the Cardinal took a souvenir photo with the actors.

Speaking during the welcome program, Dr. Vu Chien Thang (a member of Civil Government) welcomed and thanked the Cardinal for his presence, and he also acknowledged and thanked the Don Bosco Congregation for its diverse contributions to educational activities, contributing to improving social life, especially the lives of many young people.

Before the program ended, the Cardinal thanked everyone for their presence and prepared for an emotional evening. He also expressed his joy and surprise at the good things the actors and everyone had brought. Finally, on behalf of the participants of the Team Visit meeting, he wished everyone a happy new year.

The performance ends with a friendly meal. Closing the meeting, the Cardinal visited Don Bosco Dalat Parish.
