Anisakan, Myanmar 2 February 2024 -- On the feast day of the Presentation of the Lord, some 130 consecrated persons from Pyin Oo Lwin and Mandalay Zones joined together at the Shrine of MHC to celebrate “World Day of Consecrated Life” under the theme: “Pilgrims of Hope on the path of Peace”. The ceremony began with the Holy Mass, at 9 A.M, presided by a diocesan priest, Fr. Peter Sein Hlaing Oo, on behalf of the Archbishop of Mandalay.
In his homily, he earnestly expounded about the nature of concreted life and encouraged all the religious to bear witness to God’s love and mercy to all the people they encounter in the mission. After the Holy Mass, greetings and shaking hands went on among the crowd.
As a series of social games took place one after another, joy and peace clearly shone on their faces. The program of the day ended with lunch, where apostolic experiences were happily shared with one other with hope.
