Sumba, Indonesia, 3 February 2024 -- Don Bosco Training Center of Sumba made a breakthrough by establishing an Internet Tower for the community in Southwest Sumba. They strive to continue working to build the land of Sumba into a developed land with adequate natural resources and human resources. Seeing the great potential for progress in the land of Sumba. They are trying to collaborate to build an accessible internet network so that people can access the internet easily. The tower planning was initially planned in the form of using iron. However, Br. Ephrem Santos, SDB wants the tower to be built using bamboo to take advantage of the wealth of bamboo plants, which are very abundant in the land of Sumba. This was welcomed positively by several people who collaborate with BLK Don Bosco. On January 1 2024, the Internet Tower was inaugurated and opened to the public.

This is positive news for the entire community because the existence of the Internet Tower helps people to more easily access sites on the internet. This inauguration was attended by many important groups in Sumba. This event was attended by the main guest, Mr. Dominic Jeremey as British Ambassador to Indonesia. Support and encouragement from all the people who prayed made this construction run smoothly until the inauguration day.
