Suva, Fiji 19 September 2023 -- If anyone has visited Fiji, especially families in the villages it is easy to see that their living area is quite small, so it is very difficult to reserve a place for their children to study at home. Most students who study at home often lie on the floor to do their homework. This is very difficult for them to learn because lying on the floor like that makes them very tired and sleepy. Most of the students in our parish, St. John Bosco experience this problem.

The solution to this is Folding Desks. With folding desks, students have a good study posture. It helps them feel more comfortable when they study. Moreover, it doesn’t take up much space in their small houses.

The project to provide folding desks to poor children in John Bosco parish was carried out by the Don Bosco community and initially gave desks to 30 children. This project will continue until 100 desks are provided for poor students in the parish.

We sincerely thank and pray for the benefactor who gave the first 30 folding desks to the children here.
