Calamba City, the Philippines, 23 September 2023 -- The Diocesan Shrine of Mary Help of Christians in Canlubang, was blessed today with a special visit of the blood relic of St. Padre Pio from the National Shrine of St. Padre Pio in Sto. Tomas, Batangas. It has been here for a five-day visit since September 21.
The event was organized by the Don Bosco Aspirantate Formation House and the Shrine ministers. It was an important event that united devotees and the faithful to venerate the relic of one of the most beloved Saints of our time.
Fr. Jake Lopez, SDB, celebrated the welcome Mass, marking the start of the relic’s visit. The Mass was attended by many devotees who came to express gratitude and seek the intercessions of St. Padre Pio for healing and blessing.
The Diocesan Shrine of Mary Help of Christians extends its gratitude to the National Shrine of St. Padre Pio for sharing this precious relic with them. As the event continues, it is hoped that this visit will inspire many and bring blessings to all those who come to venerate the relic.
