Đalat, Vietnam, 9 August 2023 -- According to the annual program, in order to improve knowledge, skills and spirit during the Practical Training period, the Salesian province of Vietnam has a formation course for the confrere in the communities. At the same time, this is also an opportunity for them to share their experiences of human, spiritual and pastoral life.

The course took place at the Lasan Congregation in Đalat. In addition to the presence of 34 brothers and 4 Missionaries; the course was also accompanied by Father Joseph Do Duc Dung - Councilor for formation; Father Anthony Nguyen Anh Tuan and Father Dominic Tran Quang Liem - Rector of Phuoc Loc community.

The course officially began on the afternoon of August 3 with the check-in, greeting and sharing of fraternal joy. On the morning of the 4th, they entered into the study of the first topic presented by Father Anthony Nguyen Anh Tuan. The theme revolved around the human and spiritual dimension of Practical Training according to guidelines in the Ratio. Regarding this topic, the confreres shared specific apostolic experiences where they are in charge.

On the morning of August 5, Father Dominic Tran Quang Liem continued to help them through a sharing session with the topic: "Becoming holy in the implementation of the Preventive System." On the morning of August 6, the confreres concluded the course by commenting on the program's content and electing a new group leader.

The course ended after lunch in the joy of the Salesian family spirit.
