Tokyo, Japan, 25 October 2022 -- Fr Gaetano Compri, 92, an Italian missionary in Japan for 67 years, is still there thriving and engaged in missionary work, also in the digital world!

       This week he finished presenting the explanation on YouTube of the Catholic catechism in Japanese. There are 30 lessons of about 15 minutes each, based on his book "Light to the heart" whose first edition was published by Salesian Press in 1987 and revised in 2011, This book is known and read in Japan. especially studied in schools and Sunday school.

       Now this book and video (youtube) is also possible to prepare for the catechumens before baptism: 

       Fr Compri also published a book named “Holy shroud” in Japanese and translated into Korean, Chinese and Vietnamese (Coming soon).

       At the age of 92, Fr. Compri, an undiminished evangelist, still uses modern techniques to spread the truth and the Lord Jesus to creatures.
