Hoa An, Vietnam, 31 August 2022 -- On Tuesday morning, August 30, 2022, the Delegation of North Vietnam gathered at Hoa An community to witness and celebrate the Installation of Rectorship of Father John Le Quang Vinh. Concelebrating were the Salesians in the North, Fr. Provincial Barnabas, some Provincial Councillors, and Hoa An parishioners.
In the homily, Fr. Provincial stressed three points related to the Readings: Firstly, the conviction that authority does not come from men but from God. Therefore, one must act and work according to God's will. God himself is the boss to govern and animate the community. Secondly, the attitude we should maintain, that is the optimism, not just a smile but an inner joyful heart, shining to everyone we meet. Lastly, a Salesian choice and commitment to serve the poor young people especially those who are entrusted to our care.
Hoa An community is located in Bac Giang province, 50 kilometers from Ha Noi city. The Salesians began their mission here ten years ago, and there is one Salesian vocation coming from this community, newly professed Salesian, brother Joseph Cap Van Hao, SDB.
