       Comoro, Dili, Timor-Leste, 4 April 2022 -- TLS Provincial Economer, Fr Gui do Carmo, SDB with the PEO and PDO staff organized a three-day meeting for the rectors and economers in the Vice-Province from 29-31 March 2022 in the Audio-Visual Room of DB TVET Centre Community Comoro. The rectors and the economers were accompanied by their respective lay collaborators.

       The meeting was meant for each community to present its annual report on finance, projects and plans. However, some other related institutional bodies like Fundação Educational Salesiana (FES), Instituto Filosófico de São Francisco de Sales (IFFS), Timor Roofing & Training Unip. Lda, Centro Técnico and Sentru Formasaun Profisionál's Br. Carlos Gamba were invited to join and to present their report to the Provincial.

       This annual meeting started with the opening remarks by TLS Provincial, Fr. Apolinário Neto, SDB as he welcomed the participants and encouraged them to continuously work with transparency and accountability with regard to financial matters in line with the spirit of poverty expressed in the Constitutions and the Regulations.

       During this three day meeting, each rector and economer and other respective people in charge was given the opportunity to present the report of the year 2021 as well as sharing lessons learned from the experiences and struggles in dealing with the economic condition due to the recent pandemic. The meeting ran smoothly in a very collaborative manner for the participants, thanks to the assistance and guidance of the TLS Provincial Economer, Fr. Gui do Carmo, SDB and all the PEO and PDO staff.
