       Sumba, Indonesia, 21 January 2022 -- SMK Don Bosco (Don Bosco Technical High School) Sumba has been operating since 2015. It is located in Weepangali village on the island of Sumba. Since then there have been 4 graduate Batches, i.e. year 2018-2021. The numbers are 122 alumni. As a response for the demand of a more active Salesian Family, Fr. Dominggus Telupun SDB, the headmaster, has arranged a gathering of DB past pupils for these graduates on November 27. It was held in the Community Multi Purpose Hall at 5 – 10 PM. The theme was “Spread your wings to fly away.”

       The Don Bosco Technical High School Alumni Association (Alumni Don Bosco) was formed and there was an election to choose the first head and vice-head of the association. There were around 45 participants, both by physical presence and by online presence through Zoom. The candidate from the first batch (2018 graduates) was chosen. The head of the association is Mr. Oktavianus Lede Ngongo aand the vice head is Ms. Margaretha Ina Kii. Additional Note: The TVET graduates are not included yet because of the difficulty of contacting them. Hopefully can be realized in the very near future.
