Mambucal Parish of St John Bosco, Negros, The Philippines, 11 December 2020 -- St. John Bosco Parish and Shrine in Murcia, Negros Occidental, Philippines (Rector and Parish Priest Fr. Bong Borgueta, SDB) just launched their Green project on 8 December 2020: "TREE PLANTING WITH MOTHER MARY FOR MOTHER EARTH".
Each family in the parish community that is extended in a large area with many far away chapels, are encouraged to adopt a tree and take care of it and make it grow. A project in line with Don Bosco Green Alliance objectives and goals for a Greener Negros (Island)!
This tree planting activity is a collaborative effort with Energy Development Corporation, Mailum Minoyan United Farmers Multipurpose Cooperative Mmufampc, and family stakeholders from Barangay San Miguel & Brgy. Minoyan.
