Makati City, the Philippines, 11 October 2019 -- In commemoration of Bl. Artemide Zatti’s birthday on 12 October, a thanksgiving celebration was held at Zatti Clinic on 11 October 2019. It was in appreciation of the medical services rendered by some Doctors from Makati Medical Hospital who are giving their services “pro-bono”’ and if others charge a fee, on 12 October 2019 it is at a discounted rate. The dedicated services of the nurses and relievers were also acknowledged.

It was attended by the Provincial Superior, Fr. Gerardo Martin; the Provincial Economer, Fr. Edwin Ulanday, the Rector and Economer of Don Bosco Makati, Fr. Favie Faldas and Fr. Federico Manalo, Jr. respectively; Fr. Gregorio Bicomong Jr., Rector of SSJB Parish ; Fr. Carlos Villegas who is currently recuperating, and the medical doctors, Dr. Claver Ramos and Dr. Raul Lapitan representing the 25 Doctors of Makati Medical Hospital and the nurses / relievers of Zatti Clinic.

The event started with the invocation of Fr. G. Bicomong, Jr. and the inspirational talk by Fr. G. Martin. Certificate of Appreciation and a simple token were given to the Doctors and nurses/relievers. It was followed by a simple merienda with the blessing of Fr. F. Faldas. The event was attended too by Don Bosco Makati’s BosChorale who rendered some songs for the event.

The inspiring life of Blessed Artemide Zatti and the history of the Zatti Clinic were presented to the assembly.
