Thailand, 9 February 2019 -- From 8-9 February 2019 the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians in Thailand organised a study seminar on historical methodology led by Sr Grazia Loparco, fma, a lecturer at the Church History Faculty at the Auxilium in Rome and the FMA Institute. She shared her deep knowledge and wealth of experience with the 37 members of the FMA in the Province in a climate of dialogue, reflection, questions and learning.
Sister Grazia spoke clearly of the importance of historical education, enriching her teaching with the thinking of Pope Francis: "Look to the past with gratitude, live the present with passion, embrace the future with hope." She gave new life to the DNA of the Salesian charism in each participant and made them aware that they were a 'stone' in the the mosaic which is contributing to the "living monument' of our Institute on behalf of some many girls, in view of changing times.
