A couple of items
This aLa is very brief and there is a reason for that. This writer has been working since 3.30 a.m (it is now 9.00 p.m.) almost non-stop on GC27 translations that have been coming in (from one end of the world to the other!)
It is not just the 'official' documents that come in as translation requests but every Tom, Dick and Harry (you can substitute any names you like for these) who needs something in English sends in a 'please translate' note and sometimes as curt and brutally as that!
But the fact is that 'the document' is more or less ready in its final wording. One part yet to come in - tomorrow. Even if it were to come tonight it would not be looked at :-)- It is looking good! You will like it.
There is also a message from the Chapter - I guess that will find its way out to people in due course.
But also nearing completion is Salesian Sources, a 1,358 page collection of Don Bosco's original material. In actual fact it is 4 parts, though people often speak of 3. The 4th part is the ''Lives', 'MO' and a couple of other items which everyone has or has read. But Parts 1-3 contain considerable quantities of material that have not been available in English before.
