PARAÑAQUE: 11 May 2013-- At Seminaryo ng Don Bosco, Paranaque City the FIN province ushered in the first days of the Marian month by welcoming 7 newly professed Salesians and 3 new Salesian priests.
The perpetual profession was held on May 1, in the chapel at the Seminaryo ng Don Bosco with 7 confreres embracing the Salesian life forever.
10 confreres undertook preparation for their perpetual profession for an entire year. All these 10 come from countries within the EAO region except for 2 confreres from Africa but who are missionaries to PNG-SI. The other 3 will have their perpetual profession in their respective countries.

Meanwhile, On May 6, feast of St. Dominic Savio, 3 Filipino deacons were ordained to the presbyteral order by Cardinal Gaudencio Rosales, archbishop emeritus of the Archdiocese of Manila. The ordination was held at the National Shrine of Mary, Help of Christians. There were about 70 priests who came to concelebrate.
May 6, the date our newly ordained priests have chosen, has been an important date for them since all of them trace back their first profession on this date.
