Salesian Cooperators Retreat, THA

HUA HIN 20 August 2012 --  The Annual Retreat for the Salesian Cooperators from THA Province took place from 17-19 August 2012 at the Salesian Retreat House, Hua Hin. 

100 Salesian Cooperators from 12 local centres in Thailand participated in this retreat. Almost all the local delegates, both SDB and FMA, joined it as well. The preachers were Fr Louis Phonchi Phoolvithayakij and Fr Dominic Savio Suphot Riungam. The theme was Evangelization according to Don Bosco's spirit. It was divided into 3 sessions: 
1) Don Bosco & Evangelization 
2) Young people & Evangelization 
3) Salesian Cooperators & Evangelization.

During the Retreat, the Salesian Cooperators also celebrated the Silver Jubilee of Priestly Ordination of Frs Phonchit and Suphot and the Silver Jubilee of Profession of Bro. Dominic Savio Worawut Jirasujaritthaam.

On Sunday 19 August, Bishop Joseph Prathan Sridarunsil, Bishop of Suratthani Diocese, celebrated the Mass with other 8 priests. During the Mass, 3 new Salesian Cooperators made their Promise and all the other Salesian Cooperators renewed their Promise.
