Media awards for FIN confreres
MANILA: 20 October 2011 .. Three confreres from the FIN Province received recognition during the 2011 Catholic Mass Media Awards held on 19 October in Manila. Fr. Bernard Nolasco was awarded for the second time for the Best Entertainment Column for his articles in the Word and Lifemagazine. Fr. Armand Robleza was awarded the Best Children's Short Story for his book ‘Hearty’, the first of his series of six Christmas stories for children intended for publication from 2010 to 2015. Fr. Rocky Evangelista was given the top recognition, called the Cardinal Sin Book Award, in the Ministry Category, for his book ‘Finally, I’m Home’, an autobiographical account of his life as it comes to full circle with his founding of the street children village.
