THA rejoices in three perpetual professions

BAMPONG: 24th May 2009 -- Clerical students Bros. Dominic Savio Virote Phongissara, Francis Xavier Ronachai Mathavabhandhu and Peter Watthana Seesawan made their perpetual profession on 23rd May into the hands of the THA Provincial Fr John Bosco Theparat Pitisant. The event took place at the St Josphe Church, Bampong.
It was another great festive occasion for the Salesian Family in Thailand.  Some 30 Salesian priests, many Salesian Brothers, FMA, SIHM and DQM Sisters, along with other Religious and faithful from the parishes were in attendance for the joyful occasion.  The congregation was estimated to be around 700.

A choir made up of 200 children from the schools belonging to the Salesian Family (SDB, FMA, SIHM and DQM) was conducted by Bro. Michael Bancha Luadkham.  The children came from all over Salesian Thailand, from Hua Hin, Bangkok, Sampran, Bampong and Ratchaburi.
On 22nd May there was a prayer service of one hour's duration at St Joseph's, in preparation for the perpetual professions and also the Solemnity of Mary Help of Christians.
The Provincial announced that the three perpetually professed Brothers would be moving shortly to Australia to study English and Theology.
