Cebu:  Don Bosco Lives On

CEBU CITY: 10th December '04 -- Don Bosco Technology Centre, Cebu Boys Town, Cebu City has been celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.  At the beginning of the scholastic year the Rector, Fr Lan Guiao, had the statue of Dominic Savio re-positioned in Savio Square at the College as a way to mark the year for this young model of holiness.
Now the Centre offers a professionally produced audio CD called Don Bosco Lives On, 'a double celebration captured in music from the hearts of those who have learned to appreciate Don Bosco through Dominic Savio' is how Fr Arturo Sanchez, FIS Provincial, puts it in his cover message for the CD.
Don Bosco Lives On includes 15 musical items, all very singable and pleasant to listen to.  The title tune, actually the final number, DBLO, is a rap version.  Salesians, students, staff and other lay partners have all had a part in putting this CD together.
Words of each item are printed on the blurb accompanying the CD.
Several of the songs will appear on the sdb.org website shortly, as an example of what is on offer.  Readers interested in obtaining a copy would do well to contact Fr Lan at lansdb@yahoo.com
