LIVE LIFE! LIVE JESUS! LIVE LOVE!
SUVA: 3rd February -- Pondering the Rector Major's Strenna 2004 for some ways to encapsulate its ideas neatly for young people, the Formation Community at Don Bosco House in Fiji has come up with the formula: "Live life! Live Jesus! Live Love!" Apart from the overall 'neatness' of the formula, the community believes it also demonstrates its roots in Francis de Sales.
An alternative version is "Love life! Love God! Love others!" Both versions are presented visually with a colourful 'smiley' at the end, and vibrant fonts and colours. It's best presented as a banner, and the programme they use here (Fiji) has proven to be an excellent one for this kind of thing: American Spiritual Greetings, it is called. Has a wealth of excellent pop art and useful formats.
