NEW DELHI: 28th November -- Fr. Charles Lobo, the Rector of Don Bosco, Kokar – Ranchi has been appointed the new provincial of the Province of Jesus the Good Shepherd, New Delhi by Rev. Fr. Pascual Chavez SDB, the Rector Major. Fr. Joseph Kezhakkekara, the out-going Provincial, announced the good news to the Province of New Delhi on 28th November 2002, at 7. p.m at the Provincial house in the presence of Provincial Councillors and the confreres gathered from the neighbouring communities.
Fr. Charles Lobo, the second Provincial of New Delhi Province, succeeds Rev. Fr. Joseph Kezhakkekara. The new Provincial will be taking up his responsibility officially on 1st January 2003, on the feast of the Motherhood of our Blessed Mother.
DEATH OF FR. PAT BUZON'S MOTHER
CEBU: 26th November -- Mrs. PAULA BUZON, the mother of Fr. Pat Buzon, Provincial of Cebu. passed away on the evening of 26th November, aged 81. She was a Salesian Cooperator, for many years, well known by many Cooperators of the Region thanks to the EAO Regional Congress in Cebu, 2001. The funeral will be in Cebu, next Monday.
