"There are two interesting German internet pages to be mentioned, both concerning the "Don Bosco Stiftung" - "Don Bosco Foundation", erected on 31st January 2001.
The Salesians of the South German Province have founded this new institution. The official ceremony took place at Benediktbeuern. In the presence of Msgr. Dr. Walter Mixa (Bishop of Eichstätt and main celebrant of the festive mass) the Regierungspräsident (President of District Governement) Werner-Hans Böhm handed out the erection diploma to Fr. Provincial Herbert Bihlmayer.
The purpose of this foundation ist to give financial support to salesian youth projects in Germany - especially those where we have to pay employees - and also the Benediktbeuern Faculty of Theology. At the moment we are not looking for projects to be supported, but for for donors ...
