AUSTRALIAN COOPERATORS GO ONLINE

MELBOURNE: 19th June -- The Australian Salesian Cooperators have entered

cyberspace! Their regular newsletter is now available online through

Bosconet. Australian Cooperators experience the same situation as other

Salesians in Australia - the tyranny of distance. The only practical

way for branches to be in touch across these vast distances is the

judicious use of electronic means. While the news is largely local

news, it may be that the online effort can be a spur to other Salesian

Cooperators around the world. It would be possible, for instance, for

Salesian Cooperator homepages, wherever they exist, to be linked in a

Cooperator Webring. If this idea interests other parts of the world,

they could be in touch with either Carlos Escobar (see email in the

Cooperators Newsletter for June) or Fr. Julian Fox at Bosconet.
