MOLONEY'S LIFE'S WORK: SACRA PAGINA-THE GOSPEL OF JOHN

MELBOURNE: 21st May -- Dr. Frank Moloney SDB, Professor of Theology at

Australian Catholic University, has completed what he describes as his

'life's work', a study of the narrative design of the Gospel story of

John and its application to the lives of Christians throughout the

centuries and today in particular. His 'The Gospel of John' has been

published as part of the Sacra Pagina series, a series described by

Theological Studies as 'fracefully erudite, historically astute, and

theologically rewarding. Moloney's new work simply confirms his

position in the forefront of Johannine scholarship. It will be

officially launched in Melbourne on 23rd June. Liturgical Press, the

Publisher, is sending its academic editor, Dr. Linda Maloney from the

USA to be part of the launch. The hardcover volume, with 608 pages, is
