The 2016 is celebrated in the East Asia as the Monkey Year, and in the EAO region as the 110th birthday of the first Salesian presence in Macau with arrival of Fr. Luis Versiglia on Feb 13, 1906.
As every New Year Timetable also AD 2016 offers in the Congregation many occasions for common growth of the Salesian Charism thanks to the dynamics of mutual sharing and exchange.
The Salesian Preventive System is telling us that we can harvest from each of these occasions as much as we prepare them well ahead.
We are happy to welcome the Rector Major after GC27 for the first time in East Asia:
- February 28-March 4 in THA province (Cambodia delegation and Laos)
- March 5-6 in FIN province (Northern Philippines)
- March 9-10 in FIS province (Southern Philippines)
- October 18-22 in MYM vice-province (Myanmar)
- October 13-28 in FIS province (Pak. Delegation)
We are happy to welcome the Rector Major in the annual meeting of the provincials and delegation superiors in Manila-Batulao (March 7-11)
