“The Dream that Makes You Dream"
Hanoi, Vietnam, 13 January 2024 -- On Friday, 12 January, fifteen Salesians in Hanoi region (the communities of Duc Ninh, Hoa An, Nong Vu, and Van Phuc) gathered at Nong Vu to have their quarterly recollection. They started with a talk by Father Martin Mai Quyet Thang, the Delegation's Councillor for Youth Ministry. He shared the Dream at Nine years of age, Don Bosco’s work, the First Oratory, the Preventive System, and how it delineates a journey for the spiritual life for young people today.
The day continued with silent moments for self-reflection and confession. Then, each community had its own meeting, followed by a general meeting to share the Salesian works, which had some achievements as well as some difficulties.
The main celebrant for the Mass was Father Dominic Pham Van Chi, to thank God for all the blessings in the region. Lastly, a fraternal meal concluded the blessed day before the dismissal.
