       Ba Thon, HCM, Vietnam, 30 June 2023 -- With the goal of creating an opportunity to meet between Pastoral Councils in Salesian parishes and learn about the Salesian spirit through the Strenna 2023, on Saturday morning 24 June 2023 the Don Bosco Ba Thon Community, HCM City, Youth Ministry Committee held a meeting of Salesian Parish Pastoral Councils with the theme: "As yeast in today's human family". Attending were 12 Don Bosco Salesian parishes in Dong Nai and HCM City.

       After eception, the meeting began with a concelebratedMass on the Feast of Saint John the Baptist, with Father Barnaba Le An Phong, Provincial of the Salesians of Don Bosco Vietnam as main celebrant.

       After the Mass, the presentation and discussion on the topic "Lay apostolic vocation and spirituality in Salesian parishes" was chaired by Father Joseph Nguyen Xuan Quang, member of the Youth Ministry team.

       After the presentation, the members had a fraternal meal together with entertainment performances led by Father Martino Tran That Bao.

       In the afternoon, Father Peter Nguyen Viet Quang Minh, Provincial Councillor responsible for Youth Ministry chaired the presentation and discussion on "The Educative and Pastoral Community and sharing the mission with lay people in Salesian parishes”. Following this Father Barnaba Le An Phong and Father Peter Nguyen Viet Quang Minh gave gifts to the participants.

       At 4 p.m., the members bid farewell to each other and promised to meet again next year.
