Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, 2 April 2023 -- The Vietnam Formation Department organized a training program for 20 confreres serving as practical trainees in various Salesian Communities of VietNam, from 27-30 March 2023 at the Franciscan Monastery, Ho Chi Minh City.
On the first day of training, the Economer Fr Nicolas Kieu Long Ho helped the confreres discuss the topic: "Life and working experience of the practical training period." this gave the confreres more experiences to internalize the Faith in their vocation.
The next topic of the training course was: “Work and temperance in practical training Life.” presented by the Councilor for Formation Fr Joseph Do Duc Dung. Through the sharing, each confrers came to know more about the Salesian work style as well as increasing the experience of sanctifying work.
On the last morning of March 30, Youth Pastoral Councilor Fr Peter Quang Minh, helped them shape and familiarize themselves with the pastoral education plan, so that they could make a plan for specific activities in the education of students.
Finally, after an fraternal lunch, a representative from the group expressed his gratitude to the Fathers who enthusiastically guided, helped and accompanied them during their training days.
