Vung Tau, Vietnam, 2 December 2022 -- The Provincial Councillor for formation organized a regular training course for young Salesians in practical training over two days, November 29 and 30, at Don Bosco Phuoc Loc community, Vung Tau.
Participating in the regular training course were 21 practical trainees who are working in communities around the Vietnam Province, under the coordination of Fr Joseph Do Duc Dung.
Two topics were presented for reflection and sharing:
[1] Spiritual formation of the Practical Trainees: developed from No. 431 and 432 of the Ratio: forming the contemplative person in action and strengthening the consciousness of the Salesian consecrated person. The topic was presented by the Provincial Delegate for Formation.
[2] Learn about how to deal with difficult students, what punishment is applied and how? They must always be full of humanity and love in the way they treat difficult students, and at the same time they have to improve the relationship with students, because the relationship will help the process of education. Punishment methods also help educators, Salesians improve their own personality. This topic was presented by Fr. Liem, the rector of Don Bosco Phuoc Loc community and a member of provincial formation team.
