Vocation promotion in north east of Thailand
Banpong, Thailand, 23 January 2018 -- During the Novena of the feast of Saint John Bosco our 5 young Salesians (four Priests and one Salesian Brother) were going out as a team during three days to get know Don Bosco and promote the Salesian vocation. The venues that we went were 3 diocesan parishes and 4 diocesan schools in the North East of Thailand, diocese of Ubonratchathani.
All young people were very enthusiastic and interested in Don Bosco’s way. We introduced to them short Biography of Don Bosco and the Salesian vocation, consecrated and lay (Salesian Brother and Salesian Priest as well the Salesian Cooperator).
We hope that the fire of Salesian vocation will be lit in their hearts and bring them to God and make them Don Bosco of tomorrow! Indeed in this part of Thailand there is no nearby Salesian presence in this diocese and for most of the young people and their teachers it was the first encounter with Don Bosco Salesians!
