Vocation meeting in Tainan community
Tainan, Taiwan, 31 July 2017 -- Last weekend we have the joy to be for the sixth time with 5 young people to experience our community life. Like the call of our Lord Jesus to his first disciples: “Come and see". They have moment of Bible sharing, chatting with the SDB, watching biblical movie, playing, building the family spirit. We are thankful to God for this precious gift in the Church. We entrust them to your prayers, may God fulfill in them his holy plan. Moreover we have been blessed through the visit of Fr. Godofredo Atienza, the Provincial of Mary Help of Christians Province, Southern Philippines (FIS), Cebu.
The Catholic community in Taiwan is very small. less than 1% of the total population and also the vocation to religious or priestly life are very, very few. We invite all EAO AustraLasia readers to pray for our young people - for their faith and good faith and vocation journey. And we give thanks to the young Salesians who undertake with hope and patience this regular Come and See meetings!
