Makati, Philippines, September 28, 2015 - The Salesians of Don Bosco (FIN) gathered in two different places to officially open the FIN Sports Festival 2015.

The Province is divided into four teams or district:

• North District (San Jose, Tarlac, Pampanga, Reinforced by the Second Year Post Novices)
• Central Disctrict (Mandaluyong, Tondo, Makati, Bicol)
• South District (Laguna, Batulao)
• Paranaque District (Paranaque)

Today, the two main venues for were the Don Bosco Technical Institute, Makati City and the Seminaryo ng Don Bosco, Paranaque City. At DBTI Makati, the confreres of the North and the Makati Districts played against each other while at the Seminaryo, there were the confreres of the South and the Paranaque Districts.

This sports activities will be held every last Monday of the month beginning this month of September until February, from 4:30pm to 8:30pm. Community vespers is prayed before the games begin. While at the end of the games, a hearty dinner awaits everybody prepared by the host community.

The Championship games will be on March 4, 2016, in the presence of the Rector Major, Fr. Angel Fernandez Artime, SDB.

The aims of this sports festival is to promote friendship and camaraderie among confreres no matter what generation one belongs and to be always young not only in spirit but also in activities.
