Don't forget Mamma Margaret

ROME: 12th October 2006 -- The Rector Major reminded us, in his letter of the 24th June, that we should prepare for the 150th anniversary of the death of Mamma Margaret. Meanwhile work is going on behind the scenes to arrive at the possibility that she would be declared Venerable on 25th November. It is not all smooth sailing, apparently, in occasionally rough Vatican waters.
One of the ways the Rector Major suggests we act is by spreading an appreciation of Mamma Margaret. Don Bosco Publications UK would like to assist in this endeavour by offering the English translation of Teresio Bosco's life of Mamma Margaret at a special reduced price. This book has been so popular that the sales have almost covered the cost of production. They would, therefore, like to offer the book at the following price: For 10 copies or more, they are offering the book at £2.00 per copy (USD3.72). Unfortunately, they will need to add the cost of postage, which in the UK, for 10 copies or more will be £8.00. For airmail outside the UK it will be higher, please email joan@salesians.org.uk for an estimate of postage cost.
On an entirely different matter, should you be a Skype user, you may also interact with austraLasia directly by phone by using either austraLasia or Bosconet as Skype names.  You will of course be talking to a person, not a newsletter or a website!!
