BOMBAY PROVINCE HAS EIGHT NEW PRIESTS

BOMBAY: 20th December -- The 19th December 1998 is another Day to remember in the Province of Bombay.
In the Archdiocese of Goa, Archbishop Raul Gonsalves ordained three new priests of our Province: Deacon Avin Carvalho; Deacon Jose Sequeira and Deacon Santan Carvalho. The Ordination ceremony in Goa took place in the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima at 4:30 p.m.
In the Archdiocese of Bombay, Archbishop Ivan Dias ordianed four new priests: Deacon Bosco D'Mello; Deacon Francis Fernandes; Deacon Roger Jones and Deacon Robert Pen.The ordination ceremony was held in the Shrine of Help Help of Christians at 6:30 p.m.
On Sunday the 20th December we had the ordination of Deacon Reginald Malekar. Deacon Reginald was ordained priest by Bishop Thomas Dabre, the Bishop of the new diocese of Vasai at 10:00 a.m. in Uttan.
The Province of Bombay has indeed been blessed by the Gift of Eight new Priest. - A Wonderful Christmas Gift from the Lord.
