CHOFU, JAPAN - Sunday Nov 9th:  Four hundred boys from the six salesian parishes of the Tokyo area took part in a 
"Youth Festival" at the Salesian Formation House in 
Chofu, .The event was organized by the young people of our Parishes, helped by 
our young salesian brothers. In place of the homily there was a an enjoyable dramatic presentation of the Gospel. A group of 
twenty ladies prepared lunch for all. Games, music, theater, disco, karaoke and so on made the day a very pleasant one. This is 
the sixth such occasion this gathering has been held.  Our catholic boys usually don't have Catholic friends because of the 
extremely low percentage of Catholics in this country. 
   To spend a day with catholic friends is for them a rare, but useful and beautiful experience.
