EAO, 21 October 2016 -- Seven months after his visit to EAO region in February - March 2016 (Cambodia, Laos, Philippines), the 10th successor of Don Bosco is coming again for a pastoral visit to Mongolia delegation (VIE) and Myanmar vice-province (MYM). After arrival to Seoul (October 21) he will rest spend one night in the SDB provincial house and continue the following day his journey to Mongolia delegation (October 22-25). After a one day stop-over in Bangkok provincial house (THA) will complete this visit in Myanmar viceprovince (October 26-29) and will return to Rome.
Giving preference to the periphery or better missionary frontlines of the Church and Congregation, Fr. Angel will encourage our 11 confreres in Mongolia and 78 confreres in Myanmar in their joyful self-giving to God through the young people. It's very meaningful that the Rector Major will spend the following World Mission Sunday in Mongolia, Darkhan parish of Mary Help of Christians, the most remote northern presence in the whole EAO region.
